Made for Home hosts planning Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving dinner for a crowd who want one automated workbook to size the turkey, scale every dish, schedule the oven and track the budget instead of scattered printables.
Why this one: One workbook where entering guest count auto-scales everything at once — turkey weight, per-dish portions and the aggregated grocery quantities — not just the bird. A backward-timed cooking schedule calculates each dish's start time from the serving time you set, so the oven never jams. Includes a per-guest cost budget and a built-in potluck sign-up so guests claim dishes, and ships for BOTH Excel and Google Sheets with a one-click copy and no locked cells.
One automated workbook that handles every moving part of Thanksgiving dinner — sized to your guest count from the moment you open it.
YOU WILL RECEIVE - product.xlsx — 6-sheet workbook (Start Here, Setup, Menu, Cooking Schedule, Potluck, Budget) - how-to-use.pdf — 1-page quick-start guide
HOW IT WORKS After purchase, your files appear instantly on your Etsy purchases page and in a confirmation email from Etsy. Nothing is shipped.
HOW TO USE Open product.xlsx in Excel or upload it to Google Sheets (File > Import). No cells are locked — edit any value you like. Go to the Setup sheet and enter your guest count and serving time; every other sheet updates automatically. The Menu sheet scales each dish's total quantity from the per-guest portions you set. The Cooking Schedule works backward from your serving time and shows the start time for each dish so the oven never jams. The Potluck sheet lets guests claim dishes; Open rows stay highlighted until claimed. The Budget sheet scales grocery quantities and calculates the total cost and cost per guest. Sample rows are included on every sheet — replace them with your own dishes and grocery items. The how-to-use.pdf walks through each sheet step by step.
