Etsy messages: message the shop on Etsy, or use the "Message seller" button on any listing. For an order placed on Etsy, that is the fastest route: your order details are attached.

Gumroad orders: reply to the receipt email, or write to the address above with the email you used at checkout.

Response time: within one business day, usually sooner.

Before you write

• A file that will not open: try a different PDF reader (the free Adobe Reader works on every system) and make sure the download finished.
• Printing looks off: print at 100 percent or "actual size", not "fit to page", and pick the Letter or A4 file that matches your paper.
• A spreadsheet in Google Sheets: upload the .xlsx to Google Drive and open it with Sheets; the formulas carry over.
